The first step to get traffic for your site is submitting it to search
engines. For example, gets 35% of traffic from search engines
- there's probably no need to explain why they are so important. At the
same time, it's very difficult to submit to 200 SEs by hand, to track the
submission statuses, keep even intervals of resubmission and care about
complying with submission rules (you don't want to be accused of spamming
SEs, do you?)
